Casa Lapostolle Merlot Wine 75 Cl /is made from a selection of Merlot (86%), Syrah (12%) and Petit Verdot (2%) grapes grown in Chiles Rapel Valley. The hand harvested grapes are carefully transported to the winery where only the best fruit is selected using state-of-the-art "Vistalys" optical berry selection technology. Fifty five per cent of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 5 months to give an extra layer of complexity while keeping the fruit expression. The remaining 45% was aged in stainless steel tanks; resulting in great fruit with a fresh and pleasant palate. The wine was slightly filtered and clarified before the bottling.
